How to transport alert rules

Hi,

I've created the alert category defnidtion and configured some rules in the PI Development system, Now i have transported the alert category defnitions to the Quality PI System ,But my alert rules have not been transported. My question is is there any way you can transport the alert rules or do we need to configure the alert rules in PI Quality RWB , Can you please explain.

For Alert Category,

use transaction ALRTCATDEF menu -> Transport -> Current Alert Category / Transport All Alert Categorries.

For the Alert Rules,

create a transport request by runnning the report SXMSALERT_CONFIGTRANS.

Or manually configure it in QA.

Thanks for your message , i tried using the program SXMSALERT_CONFIGTRANS and it has asked for the workbench request and i've created a new request, Now How do i include my alert rules in this transport or does it include all the alert rules for all the alert categories.?

do we need to do anything afterwards

Hi Reynold,

I think Alert rules are not transported, it is possible for only option is create manually same as in Quality and Prod RWB.
