Definition for UI element type "CL_WDY_MD_SECTION_HEADER" does not exist

Hi All,

we have recently applied SAP notes 1229392 & 956074. This has resulted in the following error when attempting to open the Upload view in the webdynpro DEMO_ADOBE_OFFLINE:

Message no. SWDP_WB_TOOL433

The UI element definition for the UI element type "CL_WDY_MD_SECTION_HEADER" is not available in this system

Could anyone provide some guidence on how to resolve this problem?

If you applied notes and then standard SAP applications stopped working, you should enter a support ticket.

You would have solved the issue by now but I came across this problem today and found the below note, it might help anyone else looking for the same problem

For Support Package13 to Support Package 15, perform the following steps:

Execute the report 'WDY_DELETE_INCONSISTENT_MD'.

In the input field COMPNAME, enter 'DEMO_ADOBE_OFFLINE'.

First, perform a test run (checkbox TEST_RUN is selected) and save the output (for a further problem analysis that may be required).

Execute the report again, but this time, do not select the

checkbox TEST_RUN.

Activate the Web Dynpro component DEMO_ADOBE_OFFLINE.

Use transaction SICF to activate the service DEMO_ADOBE_OFFLINE.

Implement the attached correction instructions.
