JDBC sender channel issue

Hi experts,

the settings are done in sender JDBC channel is done as:

Poll Interval: 1800 secs

Availability Time: Daily: At 5:00:00 AM for 30 Minutes

according to logic, the channel start polling at 5:00:00 and stop at 5:30:00. After that It will not poll data.

But It is also polling data after that time Interval.

Please advise what is the wrong configuration done here.

When you have the channel abailable only for 30 minutes in a day, why do have polling interval of 30 minutes. Give something less than 30 minutes and more than 15 minutes and try.

but y the chanel is polling the data after the availability time?

thats i want to know.

If your Availability times configuration is correct, then after 05:30, the channel status in Communication Channel Conitoring should be "Channel Stopped".

Hi Prateek,

My channel configuraation is correct.

Thats y I m wondering that y the channel is polling after 5:30?

Mohan,

It might be processing because you might have huge data and trying to pick the data which is started before your availaibility time. Else if everything is correct is shoudl not happen.

Hi Mohan,

Some time it may be temporary problem. Try to stop the channel and set the control data as "Automatically".

if still facing, delete the schedule and cretae it newely, schedule will work as per the time slot mention

I have updated the control data as "Automatically"

but the channel is as " Channel stop".

so will it be active at only "Availibilty time" defined.

Chanel will be activated only on the schedule time.

I think I asked the same that whether you have this status or not?

If you can see this, now it would mean that your configuration is correct and it will be active once it enters Availablity Time.
