hi friends

i need to create a rental contract for 2 years.

billing is carried out monthly .. but after one year i want the rent to be increased by 10% ..

how to config this in scales.. do help..

Dear Chetan,

As suggested by frnd in above response go for Billing plan.

But I guess your question mainly was about handling 10 % next year.

I assume that in your situation quantity scale is not required, and i will suggest let the pricing condition calculation type be quantity based but you can maintain Scale basis as: 'N' - Time period scale - Years.

I never tried it but hope solves your problem.

If this is not suitable and you still have to maintain the quantity scale, then you will have to maintain two seperate condition records.

Also ask your abaper if he can write scale base formula to incorporate the requirement. I am nt sure if its possible at all by formula but worth trying.

Hi,

You have to create the periodic billing.

By using periodic billing your monthly bills be generated.

For configuring periodic billing go to IMG u2013 Sales and distribution u2013 billing u2013 billing plan.

you need to configure all those setting one by one.

After that you periodic billing will be activated in sales order.

Regarding your increased rent of 10% you can maintain that in condition record.

You have to set the validity period in the condition record.
