Usage of XSLT_TOOL Transaction

Hi All

I have gone thru previous blogs related to XSLT mappings.In a few of them I could see that there is a mention of XSLT_tool transaction for XSLT-ABAP mapping..

Can anyone please provide me some details as to when this will be used.I mean is it used just for testing purposes in XI or can it be used to create a XSLT mapping as is done by using tools like Altova and others..

Amit,

As michal mentioned its used for both and you write the code here in ABAP which is different from the code we write in altova. Thats the only difference. See some examples here:
