Flex Server

I am currently installing NW 2004s( EP 7.0) We are going to use Visual Composer and utilize the Flex Server. Does anyone know if the Flex server requires a seperate server? Is it a heavy install? Is it a seperate license, etc.?

Will I install Visual Composer right on the regular portal front-end?

Hi,

According to a forum post by a SAP employee you cannot use Flex server with older versions than VC04s SPS8. "VC with Flex is only available for a handfull of pilot customers. The first version to be available in GA is VC04s SPS8, which comes into rampup in June."

Hi Kevin,

Go ahead with the installation of Visual Composer. Also deploy the required sda files in the portal which are available in service marketplace.
