Pop-up screen does not appear for inspection point- In-process inspection

Hi,

We havs set up inspection points( time-based) in the master recipe. In that inspection point , we have defined date,time and inspector name as 3 fields to be maintained , before the results recording can start for each characteristic.

Even though the inepction point is assigned in the header QM data of recipe , system does not give the pop-up at all to record the date , time and inspector's name.

Please let me know what settings might be missing to get this pop-up screen to record the inspection date,time and inspector's name.

Then the only option is to get the partial lot activated. PLease let me know what is the reason for not activating the partial lot functionality

or at extreme case create a qualitative MIC as the name of the inspecters and make it mandatory

Hi,

If you are using Inspection Point then try Result Recording through QE71 Transaction code.

There you have facility to change / add new Inspector name, Date & Time.

System actualy does the recording of the inspector , date and time automaticaly. You can see the same in Result Recording screen Menu Button >Extras > Inspector , Date & time

Once result recording is done values are captured automaticaly

Agree with you that it is done automaticaly or can call it by pressing extras->inspector,date and inspector time.

Since we use common IDs , we want to enforce users to enter their names before results recording. So we are looking for activating this pop-up screen to enforce the inspector name's entry.

Please change the partial lot not supported to 2 Partial lot and batch for each inspection point

We do not want partial lots.

Is there any other way of getting the pop-up screen of QE11 where you are forced to capture inspector's name , date and time , while doing QA32-Results recording?

Please check whether you have maintained at plant level setting InspPt. field combination & Partial-lot assign in Result recording tab

At plant level , we have set 100 -" Freely-defined inspection point" in InspPt. field combination.

For Partial-lot assign. - we have set "partial lots not supported"

The Sampling procedure with free inspection points radio button is chosen. However, we are not getting the pop-up screen of QE11.

What we are trying to get in QA32 , is when we click on "results recording" push button , we want to get QE11 screen to pop-up so that the inspector's name and date and time are recorded , before the results recording screen comes.

Please suggest whether this is a personal setting or master data setting or config setting or some exit to be used.

Please check the Control Key assigned in the Operation. Should be Quality Relevant.

The control Key PI03 Process manuf. with autom. goods receipt has been assigned with 'inspection characteristics required'.
