SRM 7.0 - Cannot create Supplier with Contact Person

Hello everybody,

I want to create a Business Partner in the SRM 7.0 Portal. I'm able to create a Supplier on it own but I cannot create the 'Contact Person'.

It depends on the role, I cannot choose any role. It is a required field and I can click in it and open the search box but it is empty and I'm not able to find the problem

Maybe somebody know what I have to do - thanks!

In web manage Business partner , you have a option to create a contact person for a particular vendor. but you must have a administrator role.

We can create the Contact person for the vendor with the following roles in SRM 7.0

SAP_EC_BBP_ADMINISTRATOR-->SAP SRM: Administrator

SAP_EC_BBP_PURCHASE-->mySAP SRM Purchaser

SAP_EC_BBP_ST_PURCHASER -->SAP SRM: Strategic Purchaser

Select the vendor created by you from the 'Business partner' page and click on 'Create Contact person'.

Enter the details required as per the requirement and save.

I think you missed maintaining the atrribute 'role' in ppoma_bbp.
