FMIR - For fiscal yr based encumbrance, the whole fiscal will be open

Hi all

We activated FM-BCS, tried posting with FB50, whenever try to save, an error come up "Period 007/Fiscal Year 2009 for not open for FM posting in value type 66"

The error refer to tcode FMIR. We assign period 1 to 16 in 2009, but whenever try to save, there's notification "For fiscal yr based encumbrance, the whole fiscal will be open". And nothing changed as the system read the whole period is already open.

Then why can't I post it from FM?

What setting did I missed?

Hi,

Do not fill the periods in FMIR - just fill the year (you can also try FMMI transaction - it won't create a change request and could be executed directly in production).
