As far as I can see the mentioned SAP Note is not specific to any database or operating system. Therefore I would like to ask you to ask your question in a more appropriate forum. Beside that I would strongly recommend checking if you can go for a more recent support package level. The newest release where this correction is not included is 4.6c SP 03.
