I would like to know that if same article is supplying by 2 different vendors how the system determines the liabilty to vendor after sales
assume that in the month of jan vendor had supplied stock with cost price of Rs 10/pc where as in the month of April due to market conditions vendor asked us to increase the cost price to Rs 12/pc.
on what basis system will register the vendor liabilty(MRKO transaction) i.e on selling price or cost price, if on selling selling basis what is the relevance for maintaining cost prices.
Hi in IS-Retail System calculated sales prices based the Purchase price of each article supplied by vedors.
Lets talk to you senario If the same article supplied by different vendor, use the puchase price calculation type mixed vendor, so system make the average and gives best price to sell.
EX: Vendor A - 10$, Vendor B - 12$ so Avg price - 22/2 = 11$ avg price
If vendor suggest the increse the price you can change price through sales price calucation
regards
Satish
