Hi gurus...urgent..

In bex, in col i have a structure which have two key figure

Plan

Actucal

and in Row,Account Number

NOw ...my problem...

I need to make coloring to plan or actucal via from their difference...means

if plan > actucal

make actual as red

Consider...

Plan Act

acc no

10000 50 45

10001 60 61

10002 20 10

so i have to make act 45 and 10 as red ...it is less than plan...

i know i hvae to use exception and same time customer exit for formula variable...

i this approach appr ????or

i need a better approach from all bw gurus...

thanks in adv..

Regards,

San!

HI,

1.Create a formula(new column say 'x'):( Plan>actual)*1.

This formula returns '1' if Plan is greater than actual.

Now create an exception on 'x'. if x = 1 ,set color as red.

or try out this

2.new formula (new column say 'x') = (plan>actual)*actual.

This formula returns 'actual' if plan>actual.

now you can create exception on 'x'...like if x<>0...choose color as 'red'...

work around this.u should be able to get.

pl don't forget to assign points if it helps.

thanks
