PM- Tool inspection

Hi, we have to inspect the tool if it is used 100 times for production or if the inspection date expires 1 year. pls advise how to map this in pm? acccordingly we have to check the tool periodically. pls advise the steps.

Hi

1.Create a Equipment Master in IE01.

-->mension the work center & cost center of the equipement here.

2.Now create a Equipment task list either in IA01 or IA05.

-->remember the use of Inspection point & sampling procedure.

3.Now In IP01 schedule the equipment

-->attach euipment & Task list here.

mension the start of cycle.Inyou case say calibration frequency is say 1 yrs(inspection date expires 1 year)

then mension it here only.

Now in IP30 start the maintaince cycle.--->when you will issue the tool.

After one year Inspection lot will be created for this tool(maually or auto by scheduling).Inform the parties for due inspection.list of due inspection s can be seen in IP24.

I think this is the possible solution in this case.
