steps to archive idocs

hi

can anyone send me step by step documents for archiving idocs using tcode SARA using the archiving object IDOC.

or if there is any other option for archiving idocs.

we are on sap 4.6c version.

Hi,

Take a look at this.

From note 40088

"There is no special deletion program for IDocs.

Use the archiving programs. IDoc is a separate archiving class. The following programs are available:

1. Archive RSEXARCA and RSEXARCB (as of Release 3.0C)

2. Delete RSEXARCD

3. Read archiveRSEXARCR

4. Restore RSEXARCL

I think you can simply schedule these programs.
