Hi Experts,
We are receiving Operation system call recv failed (error no.232) error in one of my production system Daily at 03:04:06 seconds
Please can you let us know what would be the impact of this error and why this is caused, we could not find much information in SYS log as well as in Service Market Place
Please can you let us know how we could stop this error messages
Quick reply would be highly appreaciated
We are ECC 6.0 Unix IA64 bit and Oracle

we checked the work process trace file and the issue was due to old RFC to some external system, we have deleted that RFC and the error got disappeared

Check the system logs, short dumps and failed job.

This error means that a connection from the SAP system to an external system was reset (network issue, sender crashed etc.)

Check what jobs in the SAP system are running and if they connect to an external system.
