Update IDOC in inbound system

Hi Guys

I have this IDOC issue where some Z extensions were added to the IDOC. It's in my mapping and when I execute the IDOC in we19 for outbound process the Zfield shows with the values. But when I open the inbound payload in the receiving system those z segments are not there. I assume I should re import the IDOC in the receiving system or something? But I'm not too sure.. Where should I do this?

There are few things few you need to confirm in your XI system...

1. Check if you have imported the IDOC in your XI system and it shows all the segments

2. Check if you have loaded the metadata into your XI (ABAP stack) by using tran. code IDX1.

Thanks, I had to update my metadata for the IDOC.

You cannot import the Idoc structure in SAP system directly. You need to change the structure in Receiving system also. Then only it would be able to understand those Z fields.
