Milestone billing

Dear Gurus,

Is there any possibility to maintain Milestone billing Plan in Delivery document.

In Milestone Billing Plan, Billing is always created with reference to the Sales order.

To confirm the same, you can check the Item category TAO for Mile stone Billing in standard, you will find "Billing relevance" is "I" (Order-related Billing).

Milestone Billing is used in large projects like Engineering and construction etc where the project is continued for a long period.

When you create a sales order you have decided a number of planned Billing dates (Billing plan) and each billing date in the billing plan is blocked for billing till it is completed and confirmed by PS.

I hope, now you have understood that there is no delivery , the billing plan is done in the Sales order only and the billing plan dates are billed with reference to the Sales order.

Hi Venky,

You cant define any billing plan to delivery doc.

But you can very well define pricing for del. doc.

Can I know, what for you want billing plan in del. doc. ?
