I am failed to save date in my BSP application

Dear friends,

I have given a field for date, it is calendor short of thing, i gave the date in that field it takes but when i save that information other information is stored and displayed in the form where the date is not displayed in the form and stored, i have appeded a structure in the repository .Append with employee details, and have field ZZ_conf_date. please tell me how i take the date from the user and store it in the database and have it display on form also, please help me

Hi,

I am not sure whether I understood it... by the date it managed in its internal format for the HTMLB dateNavigator element.

Have a look at the page DateNavigator.bsp of BSP application SBSPEXT_HTMLB

If you are using it across pages, you must convert it into string. On the contrary, if you want to use it back in ABAP, convert it back from string to type 'd'.
