Site Master data

Hello all,

I'm new to SAP IS retail Module. Can you please provid me the details with the setting up of site master data and also the configuration areas involved in it.

Hi Sanjay,

Site u2013 A site can be a store a distribution center or a production location. The site is the selling and inventory management organizational unit.A site is an organizational unit used to document goods stored in distribution centers and stores for the purposes of inventory management, and to model the associated business processes, such as goods receipt, physical inventory and goods issue T code for Site creation WB01

Process for Site Creation

Site profiles are assigned accounts groups (customer/vendor) and site categories (distribution center or store). The account groups mainly control number assignment and screen modification.

DC will have vendor and customer master.

Store Will have Customer Master.

Department - Departments are subdivisions of a ship-to party. These might be, for example, different departments in a store, doors in a distribution center, or areas in a site.

Department Store u2013 is the organizational unit that covers the individual shops and is created with the site category store and store category Department store and shop

Hi its very simple steps

Creating DC and store can proceed with WB0.

Customizing:

Create number ranges for DC and Stores - (system automatically creates same for Vendor and customers also if interally)

Create account group and assign number range

Create site rpofiles, Assgin account group in site profiles

Enter the site profile in WB01 initial screean also Site profile and crete site

Better create refernece site or store and assign in site profile,

you can transfer site between Development to qulality or any another client using WBTI/WBTE tcodes - Export/import sites

Hi ,

Check a refernce site and copy it from the reference site. Most of things would be copied . Change what is not reqd for you.
