Change dropdown text with javascript

Hi

I have a form with prefilled dropdowns, now I need to customize the text of this dropdowns with javascript, I need just change the dropdown texts to value " - " text

But I don´t know the accessors to get em set this dropdown data, I now that "xfa.event.newText" just work on the "change" event, but in this case I think I need to use "initialize" event
