Dear all
Could you throw some light on how Project stock can be tracked in terms of Goods issue at site. Since if it goes to consumption a/c as soon as i do GRN. If i use account assignment 'Q', it goes to project stock. but at site how it is issued (no SAP system at site), how can we track?
Regards
by issuing the stock using the reservation number, it is easy to track all consumption for a project.

Hi,
If you want to track use Q and while receiving goods you can use a Storage location meant for projects only or normal Storage location and then issue the goods either by CNS0 or MB1A againt the Reservation. You can see the reservation either in project builder or use mb25.

Hi Krupa Karan,
While procurement for project haviong account assigmnet Q, the material gets into stock under project stock, unlike orders, (incae of order if the procurement is account assignment at the time of GR, it directly hits the consumption.).
For projects, you need to issue the material form project stock to network w.r.t. the reservation number for the WBS element / network. And regarding the consuption details for a project you can have a look at the reports CJI3 / MB25 / MB51 and MBBS, with the help of various field selections.
Hope the above may be helpful for you.

Praveen

Hi,
You can suggest use of the physical communication (Phone/ Mail) about the stock movement at site.
