Deadline monitoring and escalation for Shopping cart Approval workflow

Hi All,

We are on SRM 5.0 and using copy of workflow WS14000133.

I am able to find all the approvers dynamically using BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI.

However, we need to escalate the workitems after 5 days to approver's

manager if he doesn't act upon the workitem .I am achieving it using

modeled deadline and using rule to forward it to manger.However, when

the workitem reaches manager's inbox and once the manager approves it

, the Shopping cart approval hierarchy goes for a toss as the manager

was not in the hierarchy when the shopping cart was created initialy.

I can see next approver as manager himself for next two steps.

I tried incrementing the approval level and then forward it to

manager, bt it din't work.Any idea how can i do it??

In the approval workflow there is a container operation called increment loop counter when the PO or SC is approved.

You should increase that one to go up one level.

Hi ,

Thanks for reply, however this needs update of status to 0005 for manager.Any idea how can we do that?
