can i remove one of the subareas from the iview in ESS ?

hi,

is there any way i can remove one of the subareas from the iview in ESS ? if so, how do we go about it? do we make changes in the backend mySAP ERP or EP?

for eg. i need to remove a subarea called "<b>shop</b>" from "<b>Purchasing</b> " iview , how do i do it?

Hi aditi

u want to remove shop link under purchasing.

do the following step under SAP r3 ECC system

spro->IMG->cross-application components->Homepage framework->services->assign service to subareaa->double click on Assign services to subareas

find following

sub area key ---> EMPLOYEE_PURCHASING_SUBPURCHASING

service key short--->EMPLOYEE_PURCHASING_SHOP

<b>change the position 1 to 0</b>

save ur changes.

a new request generate. relese the request (se09).

restart the portal server.

now the shop link was not appear under Purchasing.

(for reverting change the position 0 to 1)
