" No authorization to import other requests"

Dear All,

I am not be able to import the request in Quality server, the request

is available in queue, but when I select import, its not importing.

In import history I get the the error as "tp finished: could not access

file as supposed (See ev_tp or SLOG0931.QAS)".

When I check TMS Alert messages, its says " No authorization to import other requests" (USER_ACCESS_DENIED)

Kinldy provide us the solution in ASAP.

Hi

Access denied on \\Devsvr\sapmnt\trans\tmp\SLOG0931.QAS.LOC (1)

Check you permission with above directory

HI,

make sure to give permission from /usr/sap/trans and all its subdirectory as well. In addtion to data and cofiles, you need to write permission to other directories under /usr/sap/trans. This should fix your problem.

if you have not imported using command line, I would say dont try it and use STMS.

Hi All,

I have CREATED & given permission to the file
Devsvr\sapmnt\trans\tmp\SLOG0931.QAS &
Devsvr\sapmnt\trans\tmp\SLOG0931.PRD.

now its working fine.

Guess u dont have permissions.

I get the below error when I execute at OS level..........

This is tp version 372.04.40 (release 700, unicode enabled)

E-TPSETTINGS could not be opened.

EXIT

ERROR: System : Parameter SAPEVTPATH not set. Batch jobs cannot be started.

Error in TPSETTINGS: transdir not set.

tp returncode summary:

TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0

ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0208

tp finished with return code: 208

meaning:

error in transportprofil (param missing, unknown,...)

Hi

Check the permissions of cofile and datafile,if possible import the transport from OS level btw do you have proper authorization to import transports?
