Problems in Uploading DATA from EXCEL Sheet to Int...

HI All,

I am working on a report which will upload data from an Excel sheet to Internal table in SRM Server.

There are no FM's in SRM to upload data from Excel sheet to Internal Tale.

I tried with GUI_UPLOAD, as it is the only FM I found in SRM server. By Using GUI_UPLOAD if I use File Type as 'ASC' it is saying

that data canot interpret in file. If I use file type 'BIN', i am getting special charcters into Internal table..

Could some one help me regarding this.

I am also facing the same problem. Did u get any solution to upload the data from Excel to Internal table in SRM.

Hi

I think new version SRM allows to accepts Excel too.

In older versions we too convert into csv, .txt file.

Does your business allows to convrt excel into .txt or .csv files?
