Dear expert,
We need to build the CIFS connection between our AIX5.3 and Windows server. The Windows admin has created the share "abc$" for me to connect. With "$" to indicate a hidden share. So when I run the CIFS command,
mkcifsmnt -f [mount point] -h [host] -d [share] -c [ID] -w [workgroup/domain]
Shall I include the $ in share name? so is it "-d abc" or "-d abc$".
Please advise.
Thanks in advance!
Regards.
