smartforms protect indicator

Hi Guru's,

I am facing the problem that I have to protect some folders against page breaks. In the smartfoms transaction in the options of the folder there is teh 'protect indicator' . The help says that this will protect the forlder agianst page breaks.

Allas the indicator is disabled, as it is gey, so I am not able to set this indcator. We working with sap netweaver 7.0. A note i found told that the indicator works from was 6.2.

I didn't find any notes or info on the www which offered me a solution.

I am getting frustrated.

The system suggests that there is a solution, but I cannot use it.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction for a solution,

Hi Blom,

The pagebreak protection usablity is less as the manual says.

You cannot protect folders. Sorry.

Because there have been some changes made in the usablity i cannot

say to you what will work and what won't. (gewoon wat proberen helpt)

Hi,

As you have found, page protection has changed in more recent releases. The only place to apply page-protection now is in the definition of the line type of a table. In the attributes is a flag 'no page break' if you set this any text elements in this line type will not split over a page.
