Can't change the SC after rejection

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I'm using SRM 7.0, BRF workflow.

As we all know, in srm 5.0, a SC can be changed by the creater before he/she accept the rejection from the approver. But in srm 7.0, after the approver reject the sc, the creater can't change SC anymore.

Is there any configuration to control it? Many thanks.

Hello Darcy,

You can use the option of approval with completion, in this scenario approver will have 3 choices 1. Approve 2. Reject 3. Inquire.

In case of inquire, SC will come back to employee , after changes it can be resubmit.

Hope this solves.

Thanks

Hi ASHUTOSH,

Thank you for your quick reply. The 'Inquiry' function is used to change the workflow without restart workflow.

The effect I want is allowed the user to change the SC after rejection and it will restart the workflow.

There is alternative way that when SC creations, there is a indictor called "Follow up: Work Item to Request at Process End". After set this indicator, the request can change the SC after rejection. But unfortunately, when set the indicator, the request aslo need to confirm after SC approval.

I checked on document SRM 7.0 Overview for Workflow Changes and there are words below:

-

3.5 Changing rejected documents

It is now possible to change a document even after all of its items have

been rejected in the final approval process level. In this case, the

requester of a shopping cart, for example, receives a work item after the

final approval process level has been processed and can then change

the document.

To be able to use this function, you must have configured the system so

that a work item is sent to the requester at the process end. You can do

so in Customizing for Supplier Relationship Management under SRM

Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Business Workflow ->

Process-Controlled Workflow -> Business Process Configuration ->

Define Process Levels.

As an alternative, during shopping cart creation, the requester can set

the Work Item to Requester at Process End indicator.

Anyone know how to configure in "Define Process Levels" to make the effect? Many thanks.
