Rule (target field: 0GROSS_WT): No source field assigned

Dear SAP BI Gurus,

Per user's request, we added one field "0region" to the wholesales cube

(ZSD_C01). We had never had problem adding field to a specific cube before.

This cube is updated by three DSOs, Sales order DSO(ZSD_O01), Delivery

DSO(ZSD_O02) and billing DSO(ZSD_O03).

After adding the object, we would need to add the mapping of 0region to

these three transformation. It has been decided that we use"read master

data "sold-to" in the 0region info object. After re-activating the

DSOs, we reactivated these three transformations and loaded the data

again from these three DSOs to the Wholesales Cube(ZSD_C01).

During the DTP of loading the cube from the DSOs. DSO ZSD_O01 and DSO ZSD_O03, were successfully

loaded to the wholesales cube. However, DSO ZSD_O02 load has some

errors saying " info object 0GROSS_WT is not compounded".

We have applied a couple of notes SAP folks recommended and now this problem is gone.

However we are having problems with mapping 0GROSS_WT to 0GROSS_WGT in transformation ODSO ZSD_O01 -> CUBE ZSD_C01. Users require us to map 0GROSS_WT(gross weight key figure in the wholesales cube), 0GROSS_WT has a unit of measure 0UNIT_OF_WT, we are mapping 0GROSS_WT to 0GRSS_WGT. However we are getting an error saying that

"Rule (target field: 0GROSS_WT): No source field assigned".

When we do the mapping, The target unit field should have been automatically filled up with "0UNIT_OF_WT", however, this didn't happen. I have also tried to manually put 0UNIT_OF_WT in the target unit field. I am still getting "Rule (target field: 0GROSS_WT): No source field assigned".

I can not activate the transformation. Can you guys please take a look at the issue?

Really appreciated your reply in advance.

Best,

Jasmine

Hi Jasmine!

Did you solve this issue? If yes, may you explain how? I'm facing the same problem here.

Thanks
