Multiprovider and Query

Hello All,

We are trying to change a multiprovider in the system, have added certain fields in the multiprovider.

But the fields added are not reflected immediately in Bex queries. We have to log out and log in to see the fields added recently.

Again here , when we try to execute a query , system doesn't identify the fields and throws error message Field XXX doesnt found in infocube/ODS ..

I feel the original version is cached in the buffer some where.. but not able to figure out where to check it.

Any suggestion would be highly helpful.

hi Nimesh,

try if helps, tcode RSRT, type in your query, menu->environment->generate query, also try 'delete old abaps'. try the same also with RSRT1.

do you get the error while opening the query in query designer or while executing it ?

Also run the query and watch SM50 to see if the query is hitting the cache...

And if possible run the query using reporting agent to see if it runs and by doing so the cache would be refreshed and the query should run.
