Messages from Archive in Message monitoring not working

Hello Experts,

In the RWB --> Message Monitoring if I select from "Archive" --> Display for any component it shows following error

" No information structure for archive exists; configure the archive first"

What configuration is needed in this case?

Is there some document that has elaborate steps mentioned regarding this configuration?

Hi,

Basis level some configuration required to view archived messages, follow below steps to see archive messages.

1. start SXMB_ADM

2. choose Schedule archiving jobs

3. click "Archive management"

4. click "Information System"

5. click "Customizing"

6. choose "Archive Infostructure" for Object "BC_XMB" and activate it by clicking on "Activate" button.

7. go back and click on "Status".

8. click on "Status per Infostructure"

9. select your object "SAP_BC_XMB" and click "Fill Structures"

10. run it as a background task

After above configuration we can see messages in SXMB_MONI window. Better to check with basis person, they can do easily.

Hey

In message monitoring, what have you selected for "Messages from Components"?

if its Integration engine,you need to configure archiving on ABAP stack,if you are selecting Adapter engine then configure archiving on Java stack.

Even if I select both the components it shows the same error.
