Web Dynpro track : required SCA

Hi Experts,

I'm currently developing a Web Dynpro Java application. Until now I worked with local project, but now I need to work in team so be able to release DC component to the server.

I started to create a track on the CMS but actually I don't know wich software component are required for Web Dynpro.

In athers post () I found that I should use :

DI BUILD TOOL 7.10

J2EE ENGINE FRAMEWORK 7.10

WEB DYNPRO RUNTIME 7.10

JAVA FRAMEWORK OFFLINE 7.10

J2EE ENGINE FACADE 7.10.

Some doubts about:

1] the post speaks about Netweaver CE, I'm working with NWDI only, are that the right SCA?

2] is there any document specifiyng the needed SCA?

2] the version of all my component on server is 7.01 SP3, but in the sevice marketplace I find only from 7.10 versions.

Can I use them or do I have to search for previous version?

3] how to choose the correct Service Pack level for the SCA?

Hi Paolo,

As for as I know you need 3 SC are to be added to the web dynpro track.

1. SAP- BUILDT 7.0

2. SAP-JEE 7.0

3. SAP-JTECHS 7.0

7.10 refers to latest version CE ( Composition Environment)

Since your version of all components is 7.01 SP3 you should use same version. You can not use 7.10 components.

I think you will get the details in service market place.

thanks for your reply, but I'm not working with Netweaver CE neither with the EP.

I'm working with a CRM 7.0 (CRM 2009) backend.

if you are working on CE 7.1 , there is no way that you can cconfigure NWDI in CE 7.1 environment .

you have to configure that in 7.0 and then move to CE 7.1

if you are working on EP 7.0 and looking for software components ,then you can search for

SAP_JTECHS

SAP_EU

SAP_BUILDT / EP_BUILDT these are software components you can search for .

search for these components there are 7.0 and 7.1 versions available ,and another thing is if there are not available

you may have to download them from the market place and them use this components.

there is a ELEARNING doc available on NWDI , you can check in SDN
