Hello,
We are planning Language Install of Chinese(ZH). I have been suggested the beow 2 steps by a friend.
I just wanted to clarify these 2 activities.
1. Import the language content of already installed support packages
This is available in SMLT>Goto> Menu> Language> Special Actions--> Import Support Package
Is this step mandatory? Or can it be skipped?
2. Import customizing language data in all clients
This option is available SMLT> Goto> Other Tools -->Import customizing language data in any client
Is this mandatory? Doesnt import of language packages perform this step?
Could somebody please give details on these steps?

Guys,
I did not find the steps that I have mentioned above in any of the links that you provided
I am looking for these post-language-install steps mentioned in my post above.
Or any other post install activities that I need to do.
Especially this step -
Import customizing language data in all clients
Shouldn't the language installation itself take care of customizing language data in all clients?
Hello,
I have installed Chinese language pack.
But now, after logging in, I am get most of the characters as square boxes.
But some characters I am able to see the correct Chinese characters.
Do I need to install Chinese font on my PC to see all teh characters?
But, if I do not have chinese font, how am I able to see some characters and not the others?
Thanks.
