Hi

Check your Profiles does they have proper entries of your Hostname.

what is your kernel patch level,may be you can give a try upgrading your kernel patch level to latest,not sure it will work but just give a try

Hi

Can you execute the command r3trans -d and paste the output of trans.log

Did you check all the oracle services and listner service is running fine

start>cmd>services.msc check for oracle and SAP services are running

Hi Kumar,

Set the env variable dbms_type to ora - for oracle database

mss - for mssql databse.

Reboot the system and start sap

I have set the env variable dbms_type to ora and Reboot the system and start sap.

Now the error is change when i am trying to start sap.

Execute r3trans -d at command prompt this will create logfile r3tans.log

Analyze these two files for error.

Hi,

The in dev_w0 still same error is comming but i have check variable dbms_type is ORA.

In Invalid profile parameter dbms/type (or environment variable dbms_type) = <undef>, cannot load DB library

this looks ok.

You can rebbot the system once and login as user sidadm and try to restart sap
