Rules for password generation in Access Enforcer

What are the rules/specifications for the initial SAP password sent out by Access Enforcer on that special email for new users? Can't find any documentation on it. We are on AE 5.2 SP12.

Our SAP Management is getting ready to change some of the SAP password requirements (ex: changing minimum password length to 7 characters) and we need to see how the AE generated password compares to these new requirements.

Hi Bob,

The password policy enforced in the SAP system where the provisioning is going to be done is taken by CUP. If the same is enforced in the backend system A then CUP will use the policy maintained in SAP System A and generate password according to that.

As Varun mentioned, CUP does not maintain any password policy. CUP will adhere to the password policy implemented in the target SAP system.
