REM Activation

Hi All,

we have ECC 6.0 EnhP4 (FI,CO,MM,WM,PS,PM,TR,AA,TX,GL,AP/AR) and now our client wants to implement REM. We have read that REM isn't an industry solution so we want your help about its activation. How to activate REM? Is REM just another SAP module such as MM,FI, etc? Does the activation of REM have any impact on the other SAP standard modules or is just an integration such as FI for MM?

Building, Properties, Rental Unit, Pooled space, Real Estate Contract, Cost Collector SUu2026

customer/Vendor etc. have an 1:1 relationship RE to FI

building assests are shown in FI/AA 1:1 relationshi RE to FI/AA

you need for the RE accounts special accounting groups to turn up headlights in the posting transactionsu2026

PM/PS maintenance u2013 you have the choice to integrate it to RE in this case you have full access via RE to PM u2013 if possible. But maybe the structure of your PM is not compatibleu2026

So you have to superior how to represent your maintenance if you want to integrate RE with PM.. (which make sence)

As I can give an advice u2013 contact an SAP Real Estate Partner with experience in implementating SAP RE/FX u2026 because there are much more problems/questions to solveu2026
