Difference between Public folder Private Folder

Dear Gurus,

Can you please let me know the Difference between Public folder Private Folder in SAP Easy Document Management.

Also If I need to delete the Public folder How Do I perfomr this action.

May I kindly suggest that if you're going to copy and paste someone else's work you at least paste the source of your answer.

hi

private is private ot users that is other users can not access the documents in private folder.

public folder documents are available to other users as well

to control access use ACL.

to delete public - use context menu but it shud be empty before u delete any folder
