SMD agent installation with windows 2003 and 2008 cluster

Can you please tell me how to install the SMD agent in a MSCS environment.

We have windows clusters with 2 cluster nodes.

-On which cluster nodes do I have to install the SMD agent?

-Do I have to start the sapinst.exe with the virtualhost option?

-Do I have to choose local or a virtual installation?

-Do I have to install an SMD agent on the applications servers?

-Is there a difference in SMD agent setup for Windows 2003 cluster and

2008 cluster?

Hi Thiago,

I had faced the similar issue while configuring SMD on our landscape.

I did not find an answer to this.However i did the following:

Installed SMD agent on all the servers.

Chose a local installation .

Also chose local for the component analyzer.
