Hi,

I need small information , my user was faced problem can you retify?

When an Order is palced in VA01 using SP (XXXXX) and SH (XXXXX) , there is an error message that reads : Ship to party is not defined for the customer.

When an order is placed in VA11, useing same SP and SH there is no error message.

what is problem?

i checked parter fucation there is no assignment between SP and SH

how inquiry is created? useing same SP and SH why he has not creat order?

Can u guide me?

Hi Sreenu,

For this to get solved

goto

vov8

Select your sales order type and go to the details screen by double clicking it.

Under General control check against item division field.

unflag it

Now raise the sales order and revert to me back if problem persists.

Hi,

Goto XD03,Enter your customer number.

Goto Partners tab in sales area tab.

Check whether SH is appearing here or not.

I think it is appearing here.

So goto SPRO>Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Partner determination>Set up partner determination.

Select Set up partner determination for sales document header.

Check what is the Partner determination procedure assigned to your sales document document.

Note down that procedure.

Click on Partner determination procedures.

Select that procedure.

Cilck on partner functions in that procedure.

Check whether SH is defined here or not.If not define for SH.

Similarly select partner determination for sales document item also.

Now you can maintain in slaes order also.

Hi Krishna,

what ever you told , all those settings are there in my system., i checked Sales document header and Item level. except one was not there i.e is in XD03/02 there is no Ship to party assignement to sold to party even though inquiry was created . but order was not created in quality server.

same thing i checd in producation server there is no error message. How it is possible ? when you raise in quality server we are faceing problem.

is it possible without assignment SH to SP?

Thanks for your responce....

i find the answer.. While creating Inquiry there is not rquired assignment Ship to party to Sold to party in parter funcations (XD01). if give any "SH " it will accept in inquiry. not in Order

if you create Order that assignment is Manditory. i taken different customers and checked in quilty . its fine
