WHY J1I5 UPDATE REGISTER REQUIRE?

Dear Friends

My doubt is why we are doing J1I5 updated the register.

when we are doing this things for RG1 register then where it affect and what are accounting effects.

if we will bypass this then what will be problem.

Please clear my doubt in elaborate methods

Hi Arun,

There are some scenarios, where the registers need to be updated. I can give an Example of opening stock( Opening balance at very first step after gone live in SAP).

The movement type we use is 561 ( Same in case of procurement also) . In this case , the RG1 will not Hit. To make the opening balance, We use J1i5.

We have some more other scenarios where we need too make this regsiter update.
