Message type was changed. How to refresh mappings

Is there a simple way to refresh all mapping for message type?

If you change the entire source and target structure then you have to do. But if you add any additional fields only then only that have to be mapped. Also if you change any occurence then also you dont need to be mapped it automatically gets reflected in your mappings once you save the structure.

If you change the structure, then you need to redo the mapping. If you change just field lengths/Occurences/Descriotion, then refreshing the Message type will reflect the mapping.

If you change the Traget Type, then it is must to change the mapping.

ANd you can check with SXI_CACHE to refresh the mapping. But it is advisable to redo the mapping is structural changes are done.
