Allowing backorders by Order type

Hi everybody,

I am not an SD guy but want to have a quick answer..

- Can I allow backorders for certain order types and disallow for some other order types for the same customer.

-Can this be controlled at customer material inforecord level

e..g backorders are allowed for promotonal orders/products in the order but not regular oders/products

in SAP standard. If not could you tell what should be the development to achieve this.

Was expecting an answer..

Just an extension to this..

What is the difference between

- Complete Delivery

- One-time delivery

- Full Delivery

All are SAP standard fields. Please give an example.. by taking a worst case shortage scenario. How does this relate to the CMIR setting. of allow multiple delivereis and max. number of partial deliveries.
