Hi All,

We are implementing standard change request management. If I

create change request I am getting the below error.

Error:

An action was terminated due to an exceptional situation.

Message no. SOCM_ACTION_LOG 090.

Goto -> Spro -> SAP Solution Manager ->Scenarion specific Setting ->Change request Management -> standard document -> Activatic integartion with ChRM-> Double clik Integaration solution manager -> Appl CHaRM ->change Rfc to SM_<sid(solman system)>CLNT400_TMW -> save

Try it again .

Hello all,

I face a similar error message but in a different scenario.

In a customised flow of a ticket. ZLFN -> ZDCR -> ZDAD

While cancelling ZDAD, the change document end in system status "Completed" uneditable with the error message "An action was terminated due to an exceptional situation" SOCM_ACTION_LOG 090

The Predoc to ZDCR fails as well. The change Document (ZDAD) is not stuck with this error message and is uneditable. I even tried to reproduce the error on Development environment but was unsuccessful.I would like to understand the cause of this message.

i am also facing the same issue while changing the status of change request to "in Development"

Folks, more often than not this is an issue with authorizations. Have you tried running /nSU53 right after you generated this error?
