Hello Gurus,

Could you please help to share alternatives way to make the password does not expired forever besides setting it's type as System or Communcation? Do we have any parameter or table to specify the password that should not be expired?

Thank you,

Choc

Green,

This is against of SAP R/3 Security Policy. Password forcly should change after fixed interval of times in R/3 Systems.

This is also an SAP R/3 Audit issue " password does not expired forever"

Currently, you can control the desired behavior only by profile paraemters (here: login/password_expiration_time) - that means: this effects all users (of type DIALOG and COMMUNICATION, see [SAP Note 622464|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/622464]).

Hello Vikas and Wolfgang,

Seems it is possible but will affect other user types too.

Thanks for your valuable feedback..

Thank you,
