so if we dont have any automatic ports for syndication can we increase timing of Auto syndication task delay to say 1 or 2 hours? as right now we have that defaulted to 10 secs. whats happing is that after every 10 secs MDSS is scanning the ports and its loking rep with message " Wait while MDM server finishes extended operation."
my doubt is if we change that to say 30 mins even if the port is manual ( in workflow ),MDSS will scan port after 30 mins.
If you dont want that MDSS should scan your ports, you can simply turn off its service and if you are using Syndicate step in workflow then i dont think Auto Syndication Task Delay will be effective.
Manual ports are for use in Workflow, Syndicator UI, and API.
Setting the delay to 1 hour will not effect manual port syndicating using MDM Workflow.
As soon as the records will be sent by the workflow they will be exported.
Please notice that syndicating using MDM workflow will require a running MDSS. If you shut MDSS down then the syndication step in the workflow will not work.
