SAPGUI is entering a transaction by default.

Hello,

This may be simple, but I can't work out where this is configured. I have a user who launches our production system from the logonpad. Instead of going to the main menu, he is taken straight to transaction LS01N. Two sessions seem to be launched. I have looked at his SAPGUI settings - he is using a "system" entry and not a "shortcut".

Any ideas?

Hi Philip,

The start menu can be set in couple of ways,

i. for the particular user in the main menu, extras -> settings.

ii. in User profile, su01- check for default area menu under "Start menu" in the tab Default. (SAP's menu is S000 area menu)

hi, no extras -> settings.

direct extras -> "set start transaction" (or press shift+f7)
