CUP 5.3 | Update CUP enduser request screen |

Good day all.

My client has a request to update the CUP request screen. In the area Enter Request Information, Functional Area is a mandatory field as it used in the CUP Workflows.

My client wants to know if it is possible to update the name Functional Area or add a note on the right hand side of the Functional Area drop down field to assist users in completing their CUP requests correctly.

Has anybody managed to customise the CUP end user request screen yet? Is this change possible? If so, please provide the details as to how it was done.

Michael,

yes it is possible, but you will need a good Java developer to work on it. You will need to edit the eu_create_request.jsp file on the server. We did not edit this file but we did edit the index, Copy request and couple of other pages per our customer requirement.

Yes, it is possible to customize the CUP end user request form.

You can do this in 5.3 version from CUP Configuration-> End User Personalization.

Michael,

The only way to achieve this would be to follow Naveen's guidance. You will have to make code changes and you will have to make sure to take back-up of the code base when you upgrade CUP.

The end user personalization screen will not allow you to change name of the field or add any label next to any particular field.

No, it is not possible to customize the CUP screen at the moment so you would not be able to update the name Functional Area or put up a note.
