Inspection plan has been deleted- GR from production

Hi,

We are doing a goods receipt inspection from production - origin 04.

The inspection plan group counter that was assigned to the inspection lot has been deleted.

is there a way to assign another valid inspection plan group counter to the inspection lot so that we can do GR with 04 origin.

Even if the Inspection plan is deleted...you can create a back dated inspection plan with another group counter.system automatically propose next group counter.

Now lets say that your lot is already created & you want to assign the new inspection plan..

then go to QA02

click on reset sample

save.

now again go to QA02--->Inspection specification >click on Inspection specification>click on sample.

save.

check the status as REL for inspection lot.

Now take UD

please check once again.

1) Inspection plan deleted .

2) New inspection plan created

3) GR cancelled

4) GR done again

By doing this system will pick up the new inspection plan only unless you have any user exits

Before doing the GR have you created the new group.

System should take the new group only

I did create a new group before GR.

I reset sample and now the system status is CRTD , PASG and SPRQ.

The old group counter is still there. Unable to change it to the new group counter.

Dear manohar

It seems you have to cancel the GR and then only new valid group counter will get attached. Otherwise even after sample resetting the inspection plan doesnt change

I cancelled the GR and did GR again.

But the same plan group ( deleted one) is assigned.

How to reassign the inspection plan group counter?

Please give steps
