New with Webdynrpo Abap. Unable to get the logon screen for webAS.

Hello Experts,

I am pretty new to Webdynpro Abap, and am now where.

I was just trying out a tutorial for the same, and I am stuck.

I tried the following steps for Webdynpro Abap

1) Goto SE80.

2) Selected Webdynpro com/Inf and gave a name ZZ_00_SFLIGHT and created.

3) Saved to a package.I got a tree list with the web dynpro components

4) I created a view on the web dynpro component and it was supposed to give me a logon screen of web application server as per the example it dint give me it displayed DNS Lookup failed .

Now my question do we need to perform some additional settings on ECC 6.0 to enable Web Application Server.

Please guide with the same experts.

I am in trouble please guide me with your valuable opninions.

1) Basis should configure ICM.

2) GO to the below path and open Drivers file.. and add your system ip and its url..

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Ex:

8.444.66.555 xxxx60.abc.com
