Transportation - Shipment Cost Item Category

Dear All,

I want to know significance of the field "Relevance for Settlement" in Shipment Cost Item Category. What does it stand for?

Also I wish to know the detailed Explanation of "Relevent for Settlement ( Delivery Costs)" & " Relevant for Settlement ( G/L Account) "

Hi,

The relevant for settlement in tranportation is used to settle the tranportation costs.

Using this indicator we can decide against what we want to settle the transportation service costs.

i.e Normally incase of inbound delivery scenario we will use the Settlement to delivery costs indicator so that the cost will be loaded to our inventory. But incase of SD we will use Settlement to G/L Account since a separate Service PO & Service Entry Sheet will be created.
